a nested sentence

last modified 2 months ago

I communicate, often, in nested sentences - this is most comfortable to me, since it is the way I think (given I have ADHD [which is a string of words that becomes more and more of a non-sentence each day spent online, seeing as it's constantly used as an explanation for various vicissitudes in many different people's lives {and don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see people get diagnoses and understand what's been going on in their lives all along, but at some point repetition robs any sentence of its meaning} since those people have been diagnosed with the same condition, leading to digital conversations {which aren't usually very constructive} about the whole thing] and given, as well, that my condition manifests in such a way that it's a struggle to pin thoughts down linearly [which impedes me from making arguments and writing fiction {and also impedes me from remembering works of fiction I've already read in anything resembling chronological order} like you wouldn't believe] because every thought feels like it has footnotes upon footnotes [and they haven't invented, yet, a medication for this sort of thing], as cliché [I told you] as this excuse may be) and often I speak out loud like this, too (which frustrates my friends to an appropriate extent [I trust it's not too much or they'd let me know] and has led loved ones to sincerely tell me to shut up [I also tend to info-dump] which I try to take on the chin, as you do) because to get a thought out, fully out (pinning it like a butterfly) means to clarify all its context and its connective tissue, in my mind - and so I thought I'd try and write a post as one massive, nested sentence, just for fun...

...what was I talking about, again?

this post's meta-description is a reference to Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk.
